R&G MLG0012 Lever Guard For Suzuki GSX-R1000/R, GSX-8S & V-Strom 800DE

R&G Racing’s MLG0012 Lever Guard is made specifically for Suzuki GSX-R1000 / R (2017-current), GSX-8S (2023-current) & V-Strom 800DE (2023-current).

Lightweight Dupont Zytel construction is available in black, blue, green, orange and red colors and can be mounted to either left or right side clip on. This versatile lever guard safeguards the brake lever when mounted on the throttle side or the clutch lever when mounted on left side. Without this critical piece of safety equipment, a small bump to the front brakes could lock the front wheel without warning causing a serious “endo” and launch you over the bars. Interference with the clutch lever without this guard is also extremely dangerous as a bump can cause a momentary loss of drive which can also cause a loss of control.

Highly recommended for use on the track where tight elbow to elbow racing is commonplace but street riders who ride with others or in groups can also benefit. Commuters who regularly filter through traffic can also take advantage of adding a lever guard as a light bump from a side view mirror could easily cause your motorcycle to lose control, especially when in tight quarters.
